Born in 1958 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. After completing secondary school, I studied architecture and graduated in 1984 under Proffesor Dr. Peter Fister. My encounter with painting began already in high school. My father's landscape photographs, many of them on slides, were my first lesson in composition and color studies. After graduation, my focus shifter primarily to work in architecture and design. Around 2011, I began drawing and painting more actively again and starter exhibiting my works. Since then, I have created over 120 portraits in various techniques, participated in more than 30 solo and grou exhibitions and recieved numerous awards. One of these was a first place at Premio Arte Coseano. In 2024, I began a new series of paintings titled Reflections over Coffee. The central motif is a coffee cup depicted in different settings, uncer varying lighting conditions, accompanied by the play of light in a glass of water. Paintings are executed in the styles of hyperrealism and photorealism, using oil on canvas.
